As a leading timber engineering machinery specialist we cater for all aspects of machinery from repairs and maintenance through to refurbishment and installation. We also assist our customers with factory layout to maximise efficiency as well as supplying new machinery.
We are the exclusive UK dealer and service provider for Stavelse Metaalbouw, formally known as De-Pauw International. We also carry out work on all other manufacturers of machinery such as MiTek, AV Birch, EMS, Randek, Stromab and Wadkin.
James Edward Hatch founded the company in 1974 as a self-employed fitter working on various types of plant and commercial machinery.
In 1985 we began supporting customers in the Timber Engineering sector, carrying out various servicing and repair work. Our offering to the industry developed from here and today remains our engineering department’s primary focus.
Since then the next two generations have joined the business and we have continued to develop our operations and services as a result. Jacob Hatch served his time as James’ apprentice and has since progressed to be our head engineer, traveling throughout the UK and Ireland to support our customers.
In 2023 we became the exclusive dealer and service provider in the UK for Stavelse Metaalbouw saw machinery following a successful trip to Belgium.
